Bei #Selfhosting mit eigenem Gerät und Portweiterleitung vom Router habe ich immer Angst, dass jemand das Gerät übernimmt und dann in meinem Heimnetzwerk rumlungert. Deshalb habe ich es noch nie versucht.
Ist meine Angst begründet? Oder kann jemand unerfahrenes wie ich mit #yunohost oder #cloudron quasi nix falsch machen?

I can't figure out how to get the necessary permissions for the cloudron installation to do a pg_dumpall of the postgres db.

Finally managed to update the etherpad package for cloudron to upstream version 2.1.1
This meant a bigger version leap than usual for Cloudron packages, but we are very impressed with the etherpad development recently. Great job!

Found an old AT3IONT-I board collecting dust and gave it a spin as another #Cloudron #homeserver
It is a roughly 13 years old 4 Core Intel Atom CPU 330 @ 1.60GHz added some 3Gb RAM and an old SSD.
Works out of the box with latest Cloudron (the system has no AVX). Now just need to figure some use-cases for it 🙂
Anyone with curious #selfhosting hardware running Cloudron out there in the Fediverse?💻 🔍

We have put out Cloudron v8.0.2 as the currently last immediate patch release before slowly rolling out v8 for auto updating probably starting tomorrow.
Big thanks for our early testers to find edge case issues by bravely trusting us with the updates. 🙏
Always a big thing for us to push an update to so many servers, with so many more apps our users rely on every day! 🙂
