So, I’m off to Edinburgh later this month for Drupal Camp Scotland! First time ever visiting, and I’m excited.
Someone I met at DrupalCon Barcelona invited me, and I thought, why not?
Looking forward to catching up with people and learning new things (always so much happening in the Drupal world!).
After the camp, I’m staying for the weekend to explore the city a bit. If anyone has tips on must-see places or fun spots, I’d love to hear them!
I will definitely make the most of my time there before returning to London.

Today's #Drupal gotcha: I wanted to add the URL of a node to a CSV export in Views.
Nothing for path, url, alias.
It's "Link to Content" with an option for "Output the URL as text".
Why is this a toot and not a core patch? 1) There are no more patches, it would need a new remote, a new branch, it's just too hard for adding two words 2) It would involve a debate which ones to add, whether to enclose them in [] or () etc 3) Maybe a test 4) It would take forever before it gets in

Nine times out of ten, when someone uses a taxonomy with #Drupal, what they really wanted was a entity reference field. I kinda wish they'd remove taxonomy from core, or at least keep it disabled unless the install profile is a blog.
