Hey les Fédicamarades, on a pensé à un plan d'action pour aller fédérer les groupes publics des réseaux propriétaires (IG, FB surtout) ?
Parce que pour les artistes (spectacle ou plastique), les artisan·es ou les assos, je vois quelques motifs rédhibitoires de ne pas partir :
- une communauté acquise au long cours, atteignable sans effort et qu'il serait difficile de déplacer
- le tout petit nombre de gens déjà sur Masto = difficile de trouver un public
- la croyance que c'est "fermé" (alors qu'IG est giga fermé)
- l'interface en "fil" et non en page (donc pas une vitrine cohérente)

Facebook Is Now Official State Social Media: Users Can’t Unfollow Trump/Vance
This is weird and weirdly disturbing, though not surprising in our new world. I’ve heard from several friends this afternoon who have claimed that both Trump and Vance are showing up in their Facebook newsfeeds. They were not following the convicted felon and his vice president previously.
What’s disturbing is Facebook won’t let you unfollow them. You can only hide their posts. Thanks to Dave Spector on Mastodon, it appears that if you try to unfollow the accounts you’re immediately and automatically re-followed back on your account.
I guess this means Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta is now the official state social media for the new regime.
That’ll probably accelerate the exodus that was already underway given Zuckerberg’s knee-bending, ass-kissing attempts to keep his own ass out of jail.

Wife checked her #Facebook account and confirmed that Zuck added Trump & Vance to her following list today. Here's how to check:
Open your profile and click "Activity log" → "Connections" → "Followers" → "Who you've followed…".
On mobile, go to your profile and tap "•••" → "Activity log" → "Connections" → "Followers" → "Who you've followed…"
You can click or tap each profile and select "Unfollow" to unfollow them.
