Neue Regeln ab 20.11 bei #LinkedIn. Zwar wird derzeit ".. keine Schulung generativer #KI auf Grundlage von Mitgliederdaten ..." aus der EU durchgeführt, aber die Daten aller anderen greifen wir ab, weil wir (Logo!) eine Opt-out- statt einer Opt-in-Lösung anbieten.
Sowas geht auch nutzerfreundlicher, #Microsoft 🙄

Email from LinkedIn today: “At this time, we are not enabling training for generative AI on member data from the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. For those outside these regions, we’ve proactively made available an opt-out setting for any members who choose not to make this information available for this purpose.”
That this note was called out specifically in an email instead of buried in pages of legalese seems pretty noteworthy.
Anyone who says “What has the EU ever done for us?” has never read a non-EU user agreement in any detail. 😂
