I'm very disappointed that the developers of the open source #Matrix client #Element in it's most recent update included #Google #advertising #Admob. I've swapped out the official Element client with the ad free and open source alternative #Fluffychat. This isn't mentioned in the F-Droid repo but I discovered it after running a scan of my apps with the privacy app #Exodus.

You might've heard about Roskomnadzor demanding Delta Chat to comply with their nonsensical surveillance requirements.
Now they want the same from @element:
