So many people use the Fediverse, and don't even know how to use the Fediverse. 🤦♂️
That said, it is not a user problem, it is a Fediverse problem. A lot of platforms add tons of features, but don't make things easier.

Misskey Dot De has been upgraded to 2025.3.1
But you still cannot migrate out. There is still the error about "temporarily" being restricted. This is now day 2.
This is not the software, I have Misskey running on my local computer without this issue.

@nrdufour@gardenstate.social The admin is either holding people here or they broke their site so badly, it no longer works.
If you type in a username in the migration it says "user not found" and if you do that enough, you're told resource limit reached (see screenshot). It is not temporary either, since it's been that way for hours (went to bed, work up, it's midday and it still claims resource limit).

@elbuga tem um outro software que funciona dentro do fediverso que tem algumas dessas funcionalidades. ele tem vários forks, já vi com os nomes #calckey #misskey #cities #firefish
captura algumas dessas coisas, como comunidades, se não me engano tem grupos também, enquetes com um monte de opção, dá pra reagir com qualquer emoji. tem um monte de coisa que o Mastodon não tem.

My Fedi Requirements:
1) Must not have a US-Domain Extension
2) Must not be hosted in the United States
3) Uses CherryPick or Misskey (Mastodon is a last resort)
4) Must be OK with people who write in English.
5) Must have at minimum a 2,000-character limit. This simple list is more than 500, for example, so 2,000 may sound like a lot, but it's not.
6) Must be well connect. - The less fragmentation, the better. I want to have no problem following people.
7) No hate speech or illegal activity
Number 6 is the problem, because of sites like Fosstodon, for example, that blacklist damn near every possible site, left and right. Go back to Reddit, if that is your goal.
