Cyber security nerds, how do we feel about Signal? Things have been getting weird in the cyber security space, and I went all in on telegram when it released, but, ya know, "Russia Russia Russia" and OTHER things have happened in the interim, including the push for Telegram Premium that have left a sour taste to me.
For Off-Grid stuff I've got Briar set up, for the inevitable internet apocalypse, but until then, is Signal 'trustworthy?'

Je te conseille vivement le groupe #telegram Vérité Censurée:
- on y trouve des trumpistes, plein de variétés de fachos, des complotistes, des antisémites et des sionistes tendance Smotrich, des anti-scientifiques, etc
- mais aussi des gens de gauche
- peu de macronistes ils se font défoncer par tout le monde, mode il est pas frais mon poisson
- une modération qui vire les gens violents, plutôt de gauche

No es ningun secreto que Telegram siempre fue igual o peor que #WhatsApp. Pruebas miles y no voy a ser yo quien las enumere, pero es un infierno de la privacidad y estas regalando todos tus datos. No es seguro, no es privado, nunca lo fue. Y es mas que sabido que #Telegram esta afiliado con grupos de extrema derecha y les da beneficios en su plataforma, mientras que censura actos y movimientos vinculados a la politica de izquierdas

In #telegram group chats can't be encrypted and are stored on telegram servers. By default, new conversations are also not encrypted and also stored in its servers. And if you start new private conversation (encrypted), it can be accessed only from given device you started it from . #telegram sucks...
