#threads は今のところこちら側からブロックする必要は感じてない。
threadsの検索機能がどういう仕様なのかわからないけどあちらからこちらをわざわざ検索してくることはないし、こちら側ではBt以外は自分の責任でフォローしてるユーザーの投稿しかタイムラインに表示されない。
threads側がそれ以外のfediverseをコンテンツとして積極的に取り組もうとしたらドメインブロックすると思う。

I previously just put Threads on limit because I'm running a tiny instance and can gate the external risk for people, but the recent policy changes are awful and incompatible with my own moderation policies.
So welp, to the defederation bin it goes.
None of my local users were following anyone over there either, so nothing of value was lost.

I have limited threads.net tonight, and will fully de-federate tomorrow. I hope that the few Threads accounts I follow will consider a move away from #Threads

If something is mean or untrue, the algo shouldn't push it on anyone. Direct harassment shouldn't be allowed. C'mon #threads. You'd be like fedi.
Cause mean and untrue stuff exists on fedi but no algo means people who don't want to see it don't. And servers with harassers are mostly fediblocked.
But I can't understand why anybody here would now want to block threads. To spite them? They can't see our original posts or tag us. Encourage them to move here instead. #SocialWeb

@tekphloyd appreciate the stance @macstories has taken. Pretty sure they are still very much active on #threads though. I could be wrong because I do not use threads.
Personally, the only Meta product I use is WhatsApp which is used by all my friends and family.

Normie here and there are accounts I enjoy following a lot like @karaswisher and @profgalloway and yet I ALSO fully support chipping Threads off the iceberg and will miss them in the fediverse but we're in the existential fight now. We all have to choose sides. Which is crazy but here we are.
