It's beyond me why anyone would leave Twitter for #Threads. It's like leaving a shithole owned by a mad billionaire for a weird, privacy-invading place owned by another mad billionaire. It'll just give more personal data to Meta for free. Possibly creating another shithole. Bluesky is the future!

#Threads may be popular but it's increasingly annoying how all of the notifications get stuff I didn't ask for.
It's not just the feed. Quite frankly, I think it's a very poor design choice.
They will, however, most likely end up being the largest competitor to #X / #Twitter.
The upside is that since Meta nearly forced all Instagram users into it, pretty much everyone is there whether they want to or not. It was just a scummy move to say the least.
